Bridal Garden Home About the Bridal Garden Events Sale

Q: Where do I start?

A: After the initial excitement of being engaged settles down, think about how you've always pictured yourself as a bride. Was it in a big Ball Gown or a sexy Sheath, a dramatic look or soft and natural? Then start doing your research.

Finding the Perfect Wedding Gown For You. We suggest that before you come in you should do some homework. Buy bridal magazines and tear out pictures (any and all) that you like. Also, check out wedding websites such as, www.theknot.com or Designers' websites, and save or print out gown styles that you are considering. This will help give our consultants an idea as to what your style is.

Determine Your Wedding Gown Budget. You have a lot to think about right now: ceremony, reception, flowers, music, invitations, etc. All of it equates to a certain portion of your total wedding budget. So, it is important to determine what your price range is for your gown. We can definitely find a dress that you will love that's within your price range. Just tell us your requirements and we'll do the rest.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?

A: Yes. We strongly suggest that you make an appointment with one of our expert consultants. We want to serve you in the best way possible and give you the attention that you deserve. We realize how important choosing your wedding gown is and want to ensure that we can focus on you and your upcoming wedding. If you do decide to drop-in, we will gladly accommodate you as soon as possible.

Q: Should I bring anyone with me?

A: Yes! You should bring with you anyone who will be helping you in your final decision. This person(s) should be a part of the experience from the beginning to help make your decision easier. Just let us know who you are bringing with you so we can accommodate your group and make it fun for everyone.

Q: When should I order my Wedding Attire & Bridesmaids Dresses?

A: We recommend that you order your Wedding Gown at least 8 - 10 months before your wedding. Most of our designers will make your dress according to your specific order and work within this time frame. However, if you should need your gown in less than 8 months, we can accommodate you with most vendors as a "rush" order. We also suggest that you order your Headpiece & Veil with your gown so that all items can be tried on together for your first fitting.

Your Bridesmaids attire should be ordered at least 6 months before your wedding. Once all attendants have submitted their measurements for sizing and paid their deposits, then the complete order is placed for all attendants' dresses at once.

Q: Do my bridesmaids or I need to be measured if we know our sizes?

A: Yes. Sizing for bridal attire tends to run much smaller than regular clothing. Most women need to go up at least a size or two to accommodate the smaller sizing. We will take your measurements and determine your size according to a size chart provided by that particular designer. We try to match your measurement as close as possible to the designers' standard size chart. Alterations can then be made, if necessary. Please keep in mind that dresses can always be taken in, but not always let out. So it is important to trust our recommendations, as we are aware of how different styles vary with different vendors.
